I'll Start My Diet Tomorrow...

I'll start Monday....
I already ate a doughnut for breakfast, I'll just start tomorrow...
I can't start today, I'm going out to eat tonight...
It's my birthday and I always have cake, I'll start next week...
I still have chips in the cabinet, I'll start when they're gone...

Stop making excuses, no matter what you already ate today, no matter what plans you have coming up, no matter what - just get started now.

Remember, average weight and healthy always tastes better than fat and sick.

Get healthy, it starts with you - it starts right now!

It's The End....

It's Sunday! The week has come to an end....it's time for a new week and a new beginning.

Take a few minutes to think back on this past week.

How many people did you talk to about your products or business? Did you use your time wisely and make sure that every day you were doing some form of activities to grow your business? Is there anything you could do differently that would benefit you more in the coming week?

Take time today to reflect on these things and to make a short term goal list for yourself, then stick to it and make it happen.

Maybe your short term goal will be to add 3 new customers by next Friday, or to find a new business partner by tonight.

Whatever it is you choose as your short term goal, write it down then tape it to your desk or computer, keep it in your wallet or purse and then make it happen!

You can do it! Have an amazing Sunday and a beautiful week ahead!

Peace, Love & Success!

Are You Prejudging People?

Today's thought: Are you prejudging people? Do you automatically assume that Joe from the grocery store will not be interested in your product or business because he's young. Do you automatically assume that someone won't be interested because they drive an older car so you think they won't have the funds to get started. Do you look at someone and think they won't be an asset to your team and business because they are inexperienced or because they don't have much time or money? Maybe you think that someone will be upset with you for offering to share your product or opportunity. Or maybe it's just that you have already decided you're going to fail regardless so why even bother.

Never Prejudge! Some of the biggest go getters I have worked with in Network Marketing and Direct Sales have been all of the above. They were broke, but they wanted more out of life so they took a chance and succeeded. They were busy but they knew the rewards for their efforts would be great so they made time. They were young and inexperienced, but had all the excitement and passion in the world to be their own boss for a change. They learned all they could and they got out there and made it happen. They were people looking for better health or better finances. They were people just like You and Me.

Now you know you have an amazing opportunity, you believe in your products, your business, your company, your pay plan. If you didn't you would not be doing what you are. So why would you not want to share it with the world! If you love what you do and you are passionate about it others will see that as well. If you offer information on your products or business to someone and they are not interested it's ok...it's much better than having them be upset with you for not sharing with them and giving them the chance to make their own decision. It's also better than not trying at all. I have actually come across many people who were furious because someone was sitting on top of an amazing opportunity and did not give them the chance to be a part of it from the start. Just imagine that, you know you are sitting on being financially free but you don't tell the people you care about so they can be part of it...it's almost cruel.

So remember, don't prejudge anyone, give people the opportunity to make their own decisions. Love it or hate it at least you didn't make the choice for them, and who knows...they may just surprise you and be the biggest producer on your team!

Peace, Love & Success!

Other Peoples Windows

Today I want to go off topic a bit. I was sitting here earlier trying to get some work done, watching my daughter play and my husband work out. I was lost in thought about my ever growing list of things to do. School is getting ready to start next week for my youngest daughter and we are still not ready. I have obligations to watch my beautiful little grand daughter the next few days to give my oldest daughter a break. I have promises to keep for friends that need me right now. I have a business to run with hundreds of people counting on my staying on track and I have all the little things to take care of that are just a part of daily life.

I spent time reflecting on other peoples lives and caught myself thinking how wonderful it would be to have a perfect life like they do, to always be organized, to always be ready or prepared for anything with zero notice. I talked myself into believing that other moms are super moms. That they take on every second of every day like it’s nothing. I envisioned women who flawlessly raise their children, work, volunteer and seem to pop out of bed each morning as if their hair and makeup magically fixes itself each night while they sleep. They never look or seem tired, they always have that “I do it all and then some” attitude, and overall they seem like pretty amazing people. Maybe even less like people and more like super heroes.

How can I achieve that? How can I ever compare? How can my life be that amazing?

Then, as quickly as I started peering into the windows of other peoples lives it occurred to me that it’s just our own human nature to criticize ourselves. No one is harder on me than I am on myself. I am constantly pushing myself to do more, be more, give more. I realized that as I appreciate how wonderful other people are, and how flawless they seem…there are probably people who feel the same way about us.

I’m far from perfect. I wish I had all of my back to school shopping done. I wish I could manage take more time in the morning to style my hair perfectly instead of pulling it in a pony every day. I wish I was one of those super multitasking moms who seem to accomplish everything they set out to do and more.

But I do not wish for a different life.

I’m pretty blessed. I just need to remind myself why. I have an amazing husband and two beautiful, healthy daughters. I now have a grand daughter that I adore. I take care of a dozen plus rescue pets every day and love every second of it. I take my grand daughter whenever my daughter asks me to and am lucky I get to spend so much time with her. I volunteer for the school every year, all year because it‘s something I really enjoy. I make dinner for my family and love to cook. I run errands and do all the shopping. I run a successful home business that I‘m proud of. I have the most amazing friends. I throw parties and host holidays and I love every second of it.

I know I don’t do nearly as much as others. There are some mom’s I know that are juggling 3,4,5 or more kids, grand kids, work, life and everything in between. It’s not easy but  you never complain. I know how hard you have to push yourself to get through each and every day with a smile no matter how exhausted you are!

I stand up and applaud each and every one of you.

Be proud of your own life and accomplishments. Remind yourself each day of how amazing you really are. Remember that no matter how easy some people make it look, even they have their own daily battles to face. Some of us do it in sweats with our hair pulled up, others in a dress and pearls. No matter how you take on each day, give yourself a huge pat on the back because you do and remember….

Other peoples lives are not as flawless as they seem…maybe they just have really nice windows.

Peace, Love & Success!

Back From My Alaska Trip!

We just got back from a 7 day cruise with Norwegian Cruise line to Glacier Bay Alaska. This is where we started our trip, Sunday June 8th in Seattle Washington. This is a picture of Mount Rainer.

Here is the view as we sailed out on our way to our first port, Juneau Alaska.

The scenery in Alaska was breathtaking everywhere we looked.

The mountains were all snow capped and surrounded by clouds that looked like huge plumes of cotton candy.

The pictures do not even come close to showing how amazingly beautiful Alaska really is.

We witnessed mountains like these every single day.

A snapshot from our ship, the Norwegian Pearl.

 Another breathtaking view.

Coming into Juneau, Alaska. The mountain situated directly behind the town was amazingly beautiful.

This was a waterfall running down that mountain.

The same mountain in Juneau, Alaska with a shot of the American Flag in front.

Murals in Juneau. Displayed by my daughter.

Another shot of the mural. Pictures of whales were a huge hit with her everywhere we went.

A shot of our ship, the Norwegian Pearl in Juneau, Alaska.

There was actually a WWII battle in Juneau we would have never known about if it were not for this plaque.

Sunset in Alaska, very late at night. Maybe 10pm or a bit later.

 Another shot of the sunset.

We could not get over how beautiful it was here. Everywhere we looked there was just an amazing view.

 Me on the ship.

 My husband on the ship.

 Me again.

Welcome to Skagway, Alaska. This was one of my favorite ports. It was a very quaint little town. The locals were amazing to talk to and really gave us insight as to what it's like to live there. It was also very beautiful.

Skagway, Alaska. One thing they are famous for is the White Pass railway.

There was always time in Skagway to stop and take pictures with the statues.

Skagway, Alaska was also surrounded by the beautiful Alaskan scenery we were becoming accustomed too.

In Skagway. Why we took this picture I do not recall, but I figured I would share anyway.

Our ship in the port at Skagway Alaska.

 Another beautiful waterfall.

In Glacier Bay Alaska. One of the many glaciers we viewed from the ship.

Another beautiful view in Glacier Bay.

Glacier bay was not lacking in seagulls. They were everywhere!

This is one of two Bald Eagles we witnessed sitting on the ice chunks in Glacier Bay. They were just sitting there looking around. They could care less that our huge ship was sitting in the bay right next to them. I am still in awe that I got to witness these majestic birds in the wild.

 Margerie Glacier.

The brilliant blue hues in the Margerie Glacier were absolutely breathtaking. It's hard to describe how absolutely amazing it was to be there viewing these glaciers.

Another glacier in Glacier Bay, Alaska.

The boat in front of the glacier gives you a good perspective of how huge they really are.

Kayakers in front of the glacier. Seeing them was a real treat. I am actually very jealous, I wish that was us in the kayaks, getting that close to such a massive glacier had to be amazing.

Heading out of Glacier Bay, an island full of Stellar Sea lions.

 Sun setting late at night.

Ketchikan, Alaska. Our ship the Norwegian Pearl.

One thing we did see a lot of in Ketchican in the water was Jellyfish. I never thought I would see jellys on this trip. They were beautiful.

                                                       Victoria, Canada. The last port.

Our trip was amazing. Getting to visit Alaska is something you can't share with pictures or videos. There is no form of media on the planet that can prepare you for how awesome it is to be there in person. You will spend every second of your trip just standing there in awe. If you ever have the chance, Alaska is a must visit place. It's a state every person on the planet should have the opportunity to experience first hand. I hope one day to visit Alaska again with my family. I took the trip thinking it would be once in a lifetime for us, but once in a lifetime is not nearly enough. We have to experience Alaska again. There are so many things we did not even get to see. We were lucky enough to witness humpback whales, stellar sea lions, giant sea otters, bald eagles, jelly fish, puffins and a variety of wildlife along the way. I would love to be able to go back and see even more. Even if just to take in the pristine untouched scenery we witnessed on our trip.

Thank you for letting me share just a small part of my trip to Alaska with you, we took over 1000 pictures and videos and honestly it was not enough. I hope you enjoyed it and that it makes you want to visit Alaska with your family as well.

Have an amazing day!
