Are You Prejudging People?
Today's thought: Are you prejudging people? Do you automatically assume that Joe from the grocery store will not be interested in your product or business because he's young. Do you automatically assume that someone won't be interested because they drive an older car so you think they won't have the funds to get started. Do you look at someone and think they won't be an asset to your team and business because they are inexperienced or because they don't have much time or money? Maybe you think that someone will be upset with you for offering to share your product or opportunity. Or maybe it's just that you have already decided you're going to fail regardless so why even bother.
Never Prejudge! Some of the biggest go getters I have worked with in Network Marketing and Direct Sales have been all of the above. They were broke, but they wanted more out of life so they took a chance and succeeded. They were busy but they knew the rewards for their efforts would be great so they made time. They were young and inexperienced, but had all the excitement and passion in the world to be their own boss for a change. They learned all they could and they got out there and made it happen. They were people looking for better health or better finances. They were people just like You and Me.
Now you know you have an amazing opportunity, you believe in your products, your business, your company, your pay plan. If you didn't you would not be doing what you are. So why would you not want to share it with the world! If you love what you do and you are passionate about it others will see that as well. If you offer information on your products or business to someone and they are not interested it's ok...it's much better than having them be upset with you for not sharing with them and giving them the chance to make their own decision. It's also better than not trying at all. I have actually come across many people who were furious because someone was sitting on top of an amazing opportunity and did not give them the chance to be a part of it from the start. Just imagine that, you know you are sitting on being financially free but you don't tell the people you care about so they can be part of it...it's almost cruel.
So remember, don't prejudge anyone, give people the opportunity to make their own decisions. Love it or hate it at least you didn't make the choice for them, and who knows...they may just surprise you and be the biggest producer on your team!
Peace, Love & Success!

Doing What You Love, Or Loving What You Do?
Think back to when you were a child. Do you remember what you really wanted to be when you grew up? Maybe it was a cowboy, a ballerina or an astronaut. How many of you as the years passed were able to hang on to those dreams and make them a reality. Maybe as the years flew by you realized you don't even like those things anymore and your dreams had changed.
When I was a little girl I desperately wanted to do 2 things. I wanted to be a stewardess because I loved to fly and I wanted to work with animals. As the years passed I realized that I actually hate to fly, more like dread to fly, and have even gone as far as to drive 24 hours all the way to New York from Mississippi with a car full of kids on more than one occasion.
I did grow up to work with animals, but I don't actually get paid for it. We volunteer for rescues and have fostered, adopted and even helped place animals in need. While I wish loving animals would pay my bills, the electric company actually frowns upon receiving dog bones as a form of payment.
When I first got started in Networking, it was because I felt as if I had to do something to contribute after my 2nd daughter was born. I couldn't stand the thought of having someone else raise my little girl.
I can honestly say that network marketing for me was something I actually liked doing. I didn't love it like I love working with animals, but I liked it and honestly felt it was something I could spend the rest of my life doing part time. It was OK.
As time went by my part time networking business was no longer something I liked doing, or something I could even see myself doing part time for the rest of my life. It was something I obsessed about! I can honestly say I am head over heels crazy in love with network marketing. I am never bored, the work is never difficult and I never run short of interesting people to talk to. I thrive on having a team. I look forward to calls and to answering questions. I love celebrating their success whether it's their first new business partner or they just achieved a milestone like ranking up. I just can't imagine life without it at this point!
My husband said, in the nicest manner, I'm attracted to network marketing, like a bug is to a light!
I can live with that.
What were your childhood dreams?
Did you end up where you thought you would be?
Are you doing what you love, do you love what you do?
