The Secret Sauce of Success

What is the secret to great success in having a home business? Why are some people successful while others fail? What secrets are those who are successfully working from home keeping from you?

Let’s start at the beginning.

Some call it MLM, others call it Network Marketing or even Relationship Marketing. It comes in the form of products and services that offer people a way to earn an income while running their own business. The idea of becoming a success and earning financial freedom from home appeals to millions of people every year from all over the globe.

You will find everything from companies offering products for your home to health and wellness companies with everything in between. While the industry each company targets will vary greatly, the end goal for all is the same. Share your products or service with others and make money. Some people truly love the products and companies they represent, others like to focus just on the ability to make money regardless of the products their company offers.

When you take a step back and look, every company has it’s top people, it’s middle people and the people who feel they are at the bottom. People at the bottom instantly think that those in the middle and at the top are keeping something from them, holding onto a secret sauce so to speak that makes them a success. The target becomes anyone who is doing better than they are or who is having more success. Maybe it’s some special marketing tactic or secret ad campaign they are keeping to their selves and not sharing with you. Maybe they are programming geniuses and know how to get millions of people to their sign up pages on their company websites every month. Maybe they have endless amounts of money to spend on major ad campaigns. The truth is that some people do run their businesses like that, and there is nothing wrong with it, but you don‘t need to do the same in order to be successful.

Here is the secret sauce. The secret to becoming a great success is in you. It always has been. Without you the people who are successful would be nothing. There is no singular success in any business. The largest corporations on earth would fail without their managers, employees and customers. It takes everyone working as a whole to make success a reality, no one person can do it for you.

Unless you invest time in yourself success will never happen.

Everyone started somewhere. They ended up where they are because they work hard every day, they never lose focus and they learn as much as they can along the way. No one started out in this industry with skills or the ability to make lot’s of money, they pushed forward and made it happen.

The most amazing thing about networking is that anyone can do it and be successful. You do not need a degree or any special skills. There are people who are high school drop outs that make well over 6 figures a year and house wives that make enough money from home to pay all the bills.

Everyone can do it, the real question is will they?

Stop focusing on what you think others are doing and focus on what you love to do, what you want to do and what you can do. Do you like gathering with others, are you a very social person? Maybe presenting your business at home is the best way for you to build. Do you like excitement and meeting new people? Maybe you would enjoy doing public events. Do you like to spend most of your time on the internet? Maybe marketing online would be your best avenue. Everyone has something that works for them.

No matter what course you take in building your business, you have to keep pushing ahead. Never stop working it, never stop believing in yourself and never stop learning. That’s how you eventually become successful.

Remember, people at the top are just people from the bottom who never gave up and kept working until they made it happen.

The Sneak Attack

At least that's how I feel when people ask to add me as a friend or associate and then instantly send me a message like this:

"Hey, it's great connecting with you! I have a special gift for you that will REALLY grow your business (insert link here)..."

"Thanks for adding me, I can't wait to connect more, by the way when you get some time can you check out XYZ company...you can make Gazillions of dollars a day and I really like you so I wanted to share it with you..."

"I am so happy were friends, by the way I like the way you do business and you would be a perfect addition to my team, you'll make way more with (insert company & link here)...."

"Thanks for talking with me, I wanted to share this with you, it's the opportunity of a life time and normally wouldn't do this but I don't want you to miss out...(insert link here)..."

You get the point.

Look, I'm the first person to jump out of my seat with excitement over my business opportunity. I have had sleepless nights over things as little as a new product, company website or bonus I earned.

I get it, you desperately want to grow your business, are hooked on any promise of get rich quick and want everyone you meet to dive right in after you. At least that's how you come off.

If you want to try and "screw" me, you can at least buy me dinner first. I've been married for 11 years and even my husband knows better than that.

While your method of marketing may work with some, most net-workers will let you know you have a better chance of getting struck by lightning than getting most people to join you that way.

Basically, take some time to make nice, be friends, make a connection. Say "Hi, it's nice to meet you..." ask me how long I've been networking for or if I like what I do, if I have any pets, if I like the Saints. Then just wait for the answer. It's called starting a conversation, making new friends, building a relationship.

I wish you all much success in everything you do!

Have an amazing day,
