What Kind of Network Marketer Are You?

There's no denying it, if you want to be successful in any business you have to be excited about it, but you also have to know how to treat your prospects, when to talk, when to listen and what to say.

So what exactly do I mean by this?

Imagine you're looking to buy a car.

You go to a car dealer and 3 salesmen rush over to you.

The first one seems nice and is right on your tail yapping at you about the first car you seem to look at, then the 2nd and 3rd then about how great he, how he knows everything (when you can tell he has no clue) and every detail about every overpriced car on the lot. It's enough to make your head spin.

The second one wont even answer your questions and could care less about trying to get the answers...he just says "look at the window stickers because the info is right there on every car" and you can hear him mumble "if they can read" as he walks away. He's no help at all and he's kind of rude!

The 3rd one introduces himself, tells you to feel free to have a look around and that he will be happy to answer any questions you have. He then follows a few steps behind as you walk the lot and start commenting on cars, as you start to do this he interacts with you and makes small talk. You say "I wonder if this hatchback will be good with kids", he says "how old"...you say "they are 4 and 7". He says "I have 3 kids who are 12, 7 and 2...fun ages huh!" (and the small talk continues...finding little things in common, he remembers that info to help you find a car you love). Then he tells you that you may want to consider the features on another model with kids, softball and carpooling for school. He shows you a few, waits patiently and answers your questions as you ask.

Now who would you buy from?

Having the ability to answer questions, maintain excitement and not make people think you are just looking for a fast sale are a must.

We all have different ways of interacting with people and building our home business, just remember to treat others how you would like to be treated along the way.
